Sevenhill Cellars
Early Jesuit settlers founded Sevenhill Cellars in the mid-
nineteenth century, and today the winery offers tastings and sales
in the old monastery cellars, as well as tours of the church.
Burra

museums, and the Monster Mine.
Mintaro
Famous for its grey slate, which once provided the playing surface
for most of the world's billiard tables, Mintaro is a registered
historical town. The Magpie and Stump pub, and nearby Martindale
Hall are popular with visitors.
Auburn
The birthplace of famous Australian author and poet 'The Sentimental
Bloke' CJ Dennis. Auburn has many beautifully maintained historical
buildings.
