From 1855 until 1897 Ayers House was the home of Sir Henry Ayers, seven times elected Premier of South Australia. The house was used for Parliamentary dinners and grand balls which were glittering highlights of the social calendar.

Visitors to Glenelg are now able to hop off the Glenelg Tram and take themselves on an entertaining and interactive journey into history at the Bay Discovery Centre. Historic Glenelg Town Hall is home to an innovative interpretation of Holdfast Bay's role as the site of early European settlement in South Australia, it links with Federation and beach culture over the years.

Permanent collection of jet aircraft built between 1950 and 1980 flown by the Royal Australian Air Force and Royal Australian Navy. They include well known Avon Sabre, A94-974, F8 Gloster Meteor, A77-867 and DH Sea Venom, WZ-939, which was flown off Australia's last aircraft carrier, HMAS Melbourne.

Historic Cummins, the Morphett family home, began as a five-roomed square structure of red brick exterior with a loggia on the Western face. It was built in 1842 according to plans drawn for John Morphett by his friend and architect, George Kingston.
