Salisbury Country Trout Farm has a tour guide that will take you to the dam which is the fishing area and then to the hatchery section. From there you will then move onto the environment studies section and then to the cylinders of 'small fry' to large fish where you can see the different stages of growth.

From 1855 until 1897 Ayers House was the home of Sir Henry Ayers, seven times elected Premier of South Australia. The house was used for Parliamentary dinners and grand balls which were glittering highlights of the social calendar.

Visitors to Glenelg are now able to hop off the Glenelg Tram and take themselves on an entertaining and interactive journey into history at the Bay Discovery Centre. Historic Glenelg Town Hall is home to an innovative interpretation of Holdfast Bay's role as the site of early European settlement in South Australia, it links with Federation and beach culture over the years.

Beaumont House is owned by the National Trust of South Australia, it is a Heritage listed building, built by Adelaide's first Anglican Bishop, Bishop and Lady Short in 1847. During its long history the house has been the home of Sir Samuel Davenport and was one of the first locations of plantings of olive groves and grape vines in South Australia.

Bethlehem congregation was formed in 1860 by some 25 German families. Looking to the future, and with the help of the public of the City of Adelaide, the present church was built in 1871 and 1872.

This walk has been designed to give you an insight into the history and heritage of ths special area. You will probably take about one to two hours depending on whether you are a brisk walker or a leisurely stroller.

Carrick Hill is a 1930s dream home created in a style of a seventeenth-century English manor house, set in nearly 40 hectares of formal gardens and bushland. It was built around an extraordinary collection of Tudor architectural fittings, staircases, oak panelling, windows and doors bought by the owners Ursula and Edward Hayward on their honeymoon in England.
