Safety on the climb is BridgeClimb`s No 1
priority and certain conditions will apply. Climbers go through a
metal detector and are breath tested. Climbers are not permitted
to carry anything with them, even cameras are forbidden. However,
the latest in digital photographic technology will be carried by
the BridgeClimb Climb Leaders to ensure that every climber has
that all important picture of themselves at the summit of the
Bridge and a complimentary group photo is included.
The total BridgeClimb experience will take
three hours from the time of check-in at BridgeClimb base No 5
Cumberland Street, The Rocks, to completion of the climb and
return to base. Anyone over twelve (climbers aged 12-16 years must
be accompanied by an adult climber), in good health and with a
sense of adventure is invited to join. At check-in, climbers will
be thoroughly briefed by our professional, trained Climb Leaders
and will sign a medical declaration form.
BridgeClimb operates in all weather conditions
with the exception of electrical storms.

Harbour Islands
Sydney Harbour Islands are Shark, Clarke, Rhodd and Goat islands
all of the islands are a part of Sydney Harbour National Park.
Fort Denison was originally a rocky island used as an open-air
prison. It was made a fort in the 1850s.
Tours can be booked through the Sydney Harbour National Parks
Information Centre at Cadmans Cottage, 110 George Street, The Rocks.
The centre also manages bookings for picnics and parties on
Shark, Clarke and Rodd Islands (water transport not supplied) and
tours to Goat Island.
Tours include: Fort Denison: Fort Denison Heritage &
Breakfast on the Fort. Goat Island: Goat Island Heritage Tour &
Water Rats Tour.

Sydney Opera House
There is a lot more to the Opera House than opera. Once you've taken
this famous building's photography, enjoy a guided tour and
performance before visiting one of the restaurants or retail
outlets. (Performance Packages are available which offer a one stop
shop for an all encompassing Sydney Opera House experience. Check
out the opera, ballet, symphony, theatre, and much more - with up to
3000 performances a year, there's something for everybody. The
Sydney Opera House was designed by Danish Architect Joern Utzon and
completed in 1973. Although called the Sydney Opera House it is
really a performing arts centre with a Concert Hall, Opera Theatre,
Drama Theatre Playhouse, The Studio, Reception Hall, a Library with
archival material Dressing Rooms, Rehearsal Studios, Restaurants and
Foyer Bars. Theatres include: Concert Hall with a capacity of 2,690,
the largest hall used mainly by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra,
Australian Chamber Orchestra, Music Viva and other entrepreneurs for
the presentation of a variety of other entertainments. Also popular
for Conferences. Opera Theatre with a capacity of 1,547, is used the
Australian Opera, The Australian Ballet and the Sydney Dance
Company. Drama Theatre with a capacity of 544, is used the Sydney
Theatre Company and The Sydney Dance Company. Playhouse with a
capacity of 400, is booked by a number of producers of small scale
theatre, performing arts and events. The Studio presenting
innovative and exciting new music and contemporary arts. The Studio
has contemporary, experimental, jazz, techno, world, popular,
comedy, dance, cabaret. Free Outdoor entertainment every Sunday

begin approximately every 30 minutes and last for around 50 minutes.

House' - An insider's view of the theatres and foyers where one may
witness the daily operations. NB: There are approximately 200 steps
on this tour. 'Backstage Tour' - An opportunity to see what happens
the other side of the curtains! NB: There are approximately 300
steps on this tour. For safety reasons children must be aged over
twelve. 'Bennelong Walk' - A historical tour encompassing the Sydney
Opera House and Bennelong Point. NB: There are approximately 200
steps on this tour. Special Interest: 'Tour De Force' - For those
with a particular interest in architecture, engineering or the arts,
exclusive tours are available and hosted by experts in their field.

Darling Harbour
Darling Harbour, one of Sydney's leading waterfront destinations is
now alive with activity day and night! Both sides of Cockle Bay have
undergone massive development to transform the site into a most
exciting food, shopping and entertainment precinct.
The new Cockle Bay Wharf on the eastern side of Darling Harbour is
only five minutes walk from Central Sydney and offers three levels

Royal Botanic Gardens
The oldest scientific institution in Australia and site of the first
farm in Australia, where 7500 trees now spread across 30 hectares of
succulent gardens. Special features include: ** Cadi Jam Ora: First
Encounters: Cadi Jam Ora: First Encounters is a new permanent garden
display that remembers and acknowledges the Cadigal - the original
inhabitants of Sydney's city centre - and their relationship with
this land. The display creates an experience of what happened on the
site of the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney at the time of European
settlement. Featuring plants that originally grew on the site of the
Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, the display conveys Aboriginal
